Get Involved

For all of those interested, please explore the following oppurtunities: 

If you are an undergraduate student at Indiana University with an interest in social psychological research, you may have an opportunity to work as a research assistant in the lab. This is an excellent way to gain research experience, to get more involved in the academic community, and delve deeper into a research topic of interest.


If you are interested in joining the lab, please:

    1. First, read the lab's Undergraduate Guidelines 
    2. Secondly, apply to become a research assistant by completeing an Application 
    3. Lastly, email Dr. Diekman to notify her that you have read the lab guidelines and completed the application
Graduate study in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University focuses on giving you the skills and scholarly insights necessary to participate in state-of-the-art experimentation and theory.

Parking is free & easy to find.

If you are coming to our lab for an experiment, you may park in the Fee Lane Parking Garage or Forrest Avenue Parking Garage for free*.

  1. Enter the parking garage and take a ticket as directed - KEEP THIS TICKET!
  2. When leaving the garage, scan your parking ticket
  3. A parking fee will be displayed. 
  4. Scan validation card
  5. Parking fee will be reduced to ZERO and you may exit the parking garge.
